Description: This course is proposed to the basic concepts of macroeconomic analysis and the main macroeconomic stylized facts. Is a preliminary part of review of basic concepts (growth and convergence trend and cycle, markets, balance) and presentation of empirical evidence, and then focus on the study of static macroeconomic models (representative agent and overlapping generations) and traditional economic growth models.

This course will also provide some models for the three main topics: growth, development and inequality. This will allow to make some analysis of public policies in such contexts.
