En el marco de las actividades que desarrolla el Departamento de Medicina Preventiva y Salud Pública de la U. de Granada, el profesor D. Khalid Saeed Khan, profesor visitante en la Universidad de Granada, impartirá el seminario virtual dirigido a alumnos de máster, doctorandos e e investigadores adscritos al Departamento de Medicina Preventiva y Salud Pública con el objeto de dotarles de conocimientos y herramientas prácticas que faciliten la realización de revisiones sistemáticas y metaanálisis. Fechas y horario del seminario: Se impartirá en las semanas del 2 al 6 de marzo y del 9 al 13 de marzo, en horario de 10 a 13 horas

Curriculum vitae del profesor D. Khalid Saeed Khan:

Khalid Khan is recently appointed to the prestigious Beatriz Galindo Distinguished Investigator post at the University of Granada. He has published over 400 peer-reviews paper and has an H-index of >90 (by Google Scholar). He has a well-established track record in health technology assessment, evidence syntheses and systematic reviews. He published an authoritative, clear, concise, and practical, systematic review hand book in 2003 which to this day continues to be an essential text for all medical, surgical and health professionals who want to have an easily accessible, quick reference to systematically reviewing the literature. It has also been translated into German and Chinese. His experience in research management and governance includes Clinical Directorship of Research and Development at Barts Health (2014-17) and formerly Directorship of Research and Development at Birmingham Women’s Hospital (2006-10).
