Pre-enrollment

All students interested in pursuing a master's degree offered by public universities in Andalusia must complete and submit a pre-enrollment application through the electronic access point of the DUA.

A single application will be submitted, which will be valid for all public universities in Andalusia, listing the requested master's programs in order of preference. Supporting documents verifying academic qualifications must be attached, along with any other required documentation depending on the chosen master's program.

Upon submission, the system will provide a confirmation document and send a copy to the email address provided in the application.

Detailed information about procedures and deadlines can be found at:

Enrollment

Students admitted through pre-enrollment and enrolling for the first time in a Master's program at the University of Granada must complete their enrollment process via the online self-registration system:

They will need their DNI, NIE, or passport number used during pre-enrollment, along with the access credentials provided by DUA.

There are different types of enrollment:

Ordinary Enrollment

1. Full-time Enrollment:

  • A student is considered full-time if they enroll in 42 to 60 ECTS credits as part of the study plan.

  • Students may enroll in up to 75 ECTS credits per academic year, and in exceptional cases, they may request to exceed this limit through the International Graduate School.

  • If exceeding 75 ECTS credits, the additional credits must be subject to a recognition process.

2. Part-time Enrollment:

  • A student is considered part-time if they enroll in 24 to 41 ECTS credits.

  • Those enrolling in fewer credits must complete all credits required for their degree.

  • New students initially enroll with 60 ECTS credits and may later request part-time status with documented justification.

  • Requests are reviewed within 30 calendar days, and if approved, students must adjust their enrollment accordingly.

  • Non-new students can choose between full-time or part-time enrollment.

3. General Considerations:

  • Once enrollment is finalized, students cannot switch between full-time and part-time status during the academic year unless exceptional circumstances justify the change.

  • Factors such as special educational needs, work commitments, or family responsibilities may be considered.

  • Recognized credits count as enrolled credits.

Extraordinary enrollment

This exceptional reduced-time study option is designed for individuals who wish to take part in a master's program without the intention of obtaining a degree.

  • Students must meet the requirements for master's studies but cannot be enrolled in another official program at the University of Granada.

  • Enrollment ranges from 6 to 24 ECTS credits.

  • Applications must be submitted during the enrollment modification period and approved by the Master's Coordinator and the Graduate School Director.

Extracurricular enrollment

This type of enrollment allows students to expand their academic records after earning their master's degree by taking additional subjects.

  • The same tuition fees, exemptions, and discounts apply as in official enrollment.

  • Information on deadlines and forms for enrollment modifications is available on the International Graduate School website.

Permanence Regulations

  • Full-time master's students with a 60-credit program can be enrolled for up to three years.

  • Students exceeding the maximum duration but only needing to complete their Master's Thesis may receive an additional evaluation opportunity, provided they haven’t used up the maximum of six attempts and the degree program is still active.

  • Part-time students have double the maximum duration of full-time students.

  • If switching from part-time to full-time, only the proportional extended duration will apply based on the number of years spent part-time.

  • New students must pass at least 6 ECTS credits in their first academic year.

  • By the end of the second academic year, full-time students must have passed at least 18 credits, while part-time students must have passed at least 12 credits.

Evaluation Calls

  • Enrolled students have the right to two evaluation calls per academic year per subject: one ordinary and one extraordinary.

  • A maximum of six evaluations (ordinary and extraordinary combined) are allowed to pass a subject.

  • Only evaluations where the student participated and received a grade count toward this limit. "Not presented" does not count as a grade.

Scholarships

This master's program does not offer its own scholarship plan. General financial aid information can be found on the International Graduate School website.
