Specific criteria for admission to the Master's Degree in English Linguistics and Literature:
Those wishing to begin Master's Degree with a Doctorate in English Literature and Linguistics within the framework of our Postgraduate Programme must have qualifications in English Philology, Anglo-German Philology, Hispanic Philology, Translation and Interpretation or related fields.
In all cases, a good knowledge of the English language will be necessary. In the event that the number of applicants exceeds the number of places offered, the following scale will be taken into account:
- Academic record – 30%
- Grades obtained in the bachelor's degree in subjects related to the programme – 25%
- Projects and seminars completed – 20%
- Curriculum Vitae – 15%
- Other merits – 10% Student profile
Since the master's degree is taught entirely in English, it is a necessary requirement to demonstrate a level of English equivalent to C1 in the European Framework for Language Teaching by means of an official language certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, Trinity or similar).
