Mobility

The Master in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence is a joint degree programme that offers a unique academic mobility experience. Students will study across four leading European universities, each contributing its expertise in cybersecurity, cyber intelligence, and digital forensics.

Academic Mobility

The programme is structured across four semesters, with each semester taking place at a different partner university:

  • First Semester – University of Padua (Italy)

    • Focus on digital forensics, cryptography, and cyber-physical security.
    • Students select elective courses to personalise their learning.
  • Second Semester – Vilnius University (Lithuania)

    • Emphasis on operating system security, application security, and international cybersecurity management.
    • Research projects and elective specialisations.
  • Third Semester – University of Granada (Spain)

    • Specialised courses in ethical hacking, network security, and cyber intelligence.
    • Introduction to the Master’s thesis topic and research preparation.
  • Fourth Semester – University of Minho (Portugal)

    • Completion of the Master’s thesis under the supervision of experts from the partner institutions.
    • Participation in the Graduation Week, including final cybersecurity exercises and thesis presentations.

This international mobility structure allows students to benefit from different teaching approaches, cutting-edge research, and collaboration with cybersecurity professionals across Europe.

Erasmus+ Opportunities

As part of the Arqus European University Alliance, students enrolled in the programme can take advantage of Erasmus+ mobility funding, which may help cover travel and living expenses during their studies abroad. Erasmus+ provides:

  • Financial support for students moving between partner universities.
  • Access to international networking opportunities in the field of cybersecurity.
  • Participation in additional research projects, internships, or collaborations within the EU cybersecurity ecosystem.
