Horizontal and vertical coordination
The teaching module offers a total of 33 optional subjects, 20 of which have biological profiles and 13 chemical profiles. The subjects are distributed throughout the academic year, avoiding timetable overlaps between subjects of the same itinerary. With respect to the content, the academic committee has not detected any overlaps resulting from the study of the teaching guides. However, when students have reported any partial overlap to the coordinator, the responsible teachers for those subjects are informed. A system of horizontal and vertical coordination has been established consisting of the following sections:
- Analysis of teaching guides to detect content overlapping by the Academic Committee.
- Channelling of incidents and resolution through the coordinator.
- Coordination and timetable proposal. Dissemination is carried out through the Master's website and the self-enrolment manager.
A system has been established and consolidated to hold two informative and follow-up meetings with students in the degree program. During these meetings, they are informed about the development of the Master's Degree, teaching and research module, mobility programs and agreements, professional opportunities, "International Doctoral Mention", all the requirements and procedures established by the UGR and deadlines of special relevance, assignment of TFM tutors and regulations for the submission and defense of TFM, website and information contained therein, complaints and suggestions, and the importance of participating in the Degree’s survey.
A system has been established and consolidated to hold two informative and follow-up meetings with teachers in the degree program. During these meetings, they are informed about the development of the Master's Degree, CA agreements, horizontal coordination incidents, economic funding distribution, mobility programs, regulations for the submission and defense of TFM, improvement actions undertaken and their follow-up, and the need to participate in the Degree surveys. Additionally, meetings are held with TFM tutors, either in person or via email, to provide information about TFM regulations regarding implementation and evaluation rubrics, as well as administrative deadlines.
