Further Academic Information

In most subjects of the Master, the teaching platform to be used for the exchange of material between teachers and students will be SWAD: https://swad.ugr.es. The teacher of each course of the Master will register the ID, NIE or passport number of the student so that he/she can access the platform for their specific subject.

If one week before the start of each course a student has not been given access to its corresponding SWAD pages, he/she should e-mail the teacher of the course or the Master’s coordinator; it can happen that the e-mail that the student provided in the registration form contained a typographical error.

All students can change the registered courses at no charge for any time of the year provided that the number of ECTS credits of old and new courses are the same. Change Registration Form

In order to register in a course, it is necessary that it has not started or that the student has already attended the course. In the case of un-registering a course, the student is entitled to a full refund as long as this is made before January 31 (this date may be changed every year, so please refer to the Post-graduate School website).

Each student of the master has to be assigned a Tutor to serve him as an advisor. Similarly, the beginning of each academic year the master students must elect their representative for the Master’s Academic Committee and the Master’s Quality Commission.

Classrooms and Labs

Lectures usually take place in one of the following classrooms:

  • A1 ... A4 classrooms that are in the block of prefabricated classrooms within the ETSIIT premises.
  • Some of the classrooms on the first floor of the building of classrooms and laboratories of the ETSIIT.
  • The Multipurpose Room on the 5th floor of the faculty offices building of the ETSIIT.

Each teacher will communicate by email or by SWAD, in due time, the classroom where the next lecture will take place.

Practices are held in labs D1 and D2 of the ETSIIT. These laboratories are located on the first floor of the faculty offices building next to the library.

NOTE

  • For a student of the master to gain access to laboratories D1 and D2 when available, he/she must request a special permission from the ETSIIT Secretary, accompanied by the appropriate approval from the Master’s coordinator.
  • To access the computers in the classrooms and labs, students must request a PIN with which they can, in addition, access a large number of UGR services ( Click here for more information).
