Simon Horobin is Professor of English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford and Tutorial Fellow at Magdalen College, where he teaches Medieval English Language and Literature, a position once held by C. S. Lewis. He also serves as Dean of the Faculty of English at Oxford and is a leading scholar of the history of the English language.
