GEMMA's Cooperation Agreements

The first GEMMA Cooperation Agreement was signed by the GEMMA Consortium in 2009 and applied until the 2011-2012 Academic Year. As a consequence of the next two Erasmus Mundus scholarship renewals, the GEMMA Consortium signed a new Cooperation Agreements in 2012 that has run until the 2017-2018 academic year and a another Cooperation Agreement in 2017 that has run until the 2020-2021 academic year. This Cooperation Agreement's elegibility period has been extended until 2022-2023 academic year as a consequence of difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. This has allowed our students to duly finalise their theses and graduate from our programme, but also has permited our Consortium to receive more visiting scholars and to organise more activities of dissemination our Master's degree.

The current Cooperation Agreement was signed by the Consortium Universities in 2020 after GEMMA was selected as an Erasmus Mundus Master for the fourth time by the European Commission. This document was valid for the four editions of the Master's Degree (2019-2025). In 2021, the GEMMA partners signed an Addenda to the Cooperation Agreement for the reincorporation of the Central European University (Austria) as a full partner of the GEMMA Consortium.
