19. What would happen if the European Commission do not grant funding to the GEMMA programme? Would there be any other scholarships?

The award of Erasmus Mundus scholarships (2017-2018) is conditional on the GEMMA Master course renewal under the Erasmus+ call EAC/A03/2016. Only if successful in this competitive project call, GEMMA will be able to award any Erasmus Mundus scholarships. The selection results of this call will be announced mid-2017, after which the highest ranked students will be informed whether or not they are entitled to receive an EM scholarship.

Nevertheless, if the European Commission's resolution is not favorable, the GEMMA Consortium will look for alternative ways of funding in order to award some scholarships.
